ACHM has conducted cultural heritage consultancy work to date in South Australia, Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. Our professionally qualified and experienced consulting staff and associates include anthropologists, archaeologists, historians , community development consultants, GIS experts and a video ethnographer.
ACHM carries $5 million professional indemnity and $10 million public liability insurance. All ACHM consultants are covered by Work Cover.
ACHM maintains a comprehensive set of Occupational Health and Safety Procedures and has an Environmental Policy. ACHM currently adheres to a quality management system that is consistent with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9000 series.
ACHM is a GIS-based company (Geographic Information Systems), working in the fields of GIS mapping, analysis, and database production, particularly for environmental and cultural heritage management purposes. All of our research project work is based upon digital data-capture and analysis in an ESRI ArcView analytical and presentation framework. ACHM maintains a growing data library of GIS data on environmental, cultural, and infrastructure themes related to project work throughout Australia.
