ACHM are community and stakeholder consultation experts. We routinely undertake extensive consultation and engagement with Aboriginal cultural knowledge holders in order to understand the significance of cultural values, objects or places within relevant project areas.
Communicating project aims and expectations to all stakeholders is also undertaken to ensure all parties have clear understandings of the range of potential outcomes. Appropriate expert engagement with Aboriginal knowledge holders and organisations is paramount to the success of any cultural heritage project.
Effective communication with stakeholders is also paramount to the success of any cultural heritage program. This may be achieved by ACHM facilitating community meetings, newsletters, one-on-one consultation or more innovative forms of communication, such as photo books. A recent example of a photo book written by ACHM can be seen by following this link.
