Mitch Cadden

Field Archaeologist

Mitch holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Archaeology and Ancient History and an Honours degree in Archaeology from the University of New England, NSW, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (Policy Science) from Curtin University, WA, and a Master’s in Strategic Affairs from the Australian National University.

He has carried out excavation, survey, structural conservation, and photogrammetry (hand-held and drone) on Bronze Age projects at Keros and Mochlos in Greece, and the Neolithic site of Illindentsi in Bulgaria. Mitch qualified as a Level 1 Commercial/Scientific diver in the UK and has carried out underwater excavation, core sampling, and survey in Australia, Spain, Italy and Turkey.
