GIS and Mapping
Accurate, Versatile Spatial Data for Any Project
ACHM’s GIS capabilities are designed for projects where spatial precision, repeatability, and reliability are critical to regulatory approval, impact assessment, and statutory compliance. Our spatial workflows support our archaeology, CHMP, and infrastructure projects workflows, operating in complex and sensitive environments.
Our GIS platform is built on the industry‑standard ESRI suite, integrated with survey‑grade differential GPS (DGPS) data capture to ensure consistent, high‑precision spatial recording.
This approach enables the accurate delineation of activity areas, cultural heritage extents, impacts, and management zones, with accurate spatial data that is repeatable, auditable, and defensible in regulatory and expert‑witness contexts.
ACHM routinely manages and validates spatial data from multiple sources and formats, ensuring alignment between field data, GIS analysis, and reporting outputs.
Spatial products can be delivered as structured GIS data packages, standalone map and data sets, or high‑quality hard‑copy (to AO size) and digital plans suitable for CHMPs, statutory submissions, and construction documentation.
Where required, ACHM also provides secure, web‑based mapping and data services, supporting controlled access to authoritative spatial information across the life of a project.
